About Carey Hart

Carey Hart is a Freestyle Motocross Racer. He was born in Seal Beach, California and grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Career

During the 2000 Gravity Games, Carey became the Second rider to attempt a back flip in a motorcycle competition[citation needed]( First was Travis Pastrana in 1999 at the x-games) . The stunt was featured on Ripley’s Believe It or Not!

Carey also jumped the trailer park in Kid Rock’s video “Bawitdaba,” and he played bass with the band Pennywise during the 2000 Australian Warped Tour.

He has been featured in nationwide ad campaigns for Ford and Mountain Dew as well as in such print publications as Paper Magazine, Teen People, EXPN The Magazine, Rolling Stone, and has graced the covers of numerous Motocross magazines. Carey has also appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman, appeared on The Today Show and has starred in ESPN/Touchstone Pictures’ IMAX film, Ultimate X and has cameo appearances in Columbia Pictures’ XXX and Touchstone Pictures’ Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, and Pink's Just Like A Pill Video. Carey also appeared as a cast member on the fifth season of the VH1 reality show The Surreal Life.

Wasted Space

Along with Mark Zeff, Hart created Wasted Space, a "tattoo-parlor-inspired" bar, located at the Hard Rock in Las Vegas.

Marriage

In 2006, Hart married the singer Pink. Hart met Pink in Las Vegas at the 2001 X Games. After four years of dating, Pink proposed to Hart in 2005 by pit board during one of his races in Mammoth Lakes, California. She was holding a sign saying the classic phrase "Will you marry me?" On the other side was written "I'm Serious!" After Hart read the sign, he almost caused an accident. They married in Costa Rica on January 7, 2006. After months of speculation, Pink's publicist Michele Schweitzer, told PEOPLE magazine on February 19, 2008, that she and Hart had separated.

"This decision was made by best friends with a huge amount of love and respect for one another," Ms. Schweitzer said.

After two years of marriage, they divorced in February, 2008.
